The Sofa Tour is Moved to Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!
Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! - Rain is predicted for Sat, so I am moving the sofa tour to this Sunday the 23rd. Check the schedule for your times and shoot location.
Start thinking about what you will wear, and if you want to bring props.

We have 16 people confirmed for the shoot!
Surprisingly everyone is in town for the event! Only 2 of the 17 people invited "aren't up for it." (Shame, Shame, you know who you are). Eleven locations have been scouted, the U-haul is rented, the photographer is ready, and couch has reached the bay area (delivery Fri). We are set!
What do you think of all meeting at the end at Pier 23 for a group shot?! Anyone who couldn't make it during the day can join then.

Fun with Nick's Red Velvet Sofa
As many of you know, I purchased a 10 foot long 1870's red velvet sofa that I don't need, not to mention that it is too long to even get into my apartment. I was compelled to buy it for some unknown reason, however now that I have it, I need to do something with it.
Therefore, on Saturday September 22nd, I will be taking the sofa to 10+ scenic locations around San Francisco. At each location, it will be photographed by a professional photographer against the city's backdrop. This is where you come in...
This is an invitation for you (invite only) to star in one of the photo-shoots, where you can strike your best pose on the sofa against your favorite SF cityscape. Imagine this shot:
Michelle McG, on the sofa, in front of the Union Square Louis Vuitton storefront window, doing the "shimmy" with a bullhorn in one hand and her giant Louis bag in the other. or...
Rich Garrison, on the sofa, clicker in one hand, Bud Light in the other, R2D2 nearby, on the steps of Grace Cathedral (Yes, I expect at least one run-in with the authorities)
Feel free to suggest your favorite SF spot (or I will pick one for you), however keep in mind that we will need to be able to drive up and setup quickly and the sofa must be positioned so that it is level. The idea of each photo-shoot is to reflect the sofa-sitter's personality. Wear what you like, and bring props. The more creative - the better. Couples get one photo-shoot. Each shoot will take less than 45 minutes from setup to break down.
Once done, everyone will have the opportunity to order their photos or the entire photo book, at cost.
1) Will you be around on Saturday (22nd) and do you want to participate?
Check back for the schedule so you know where to be and when.
How ridiculous is this going to be?
